Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB) with the support of Sri Lanka Embassy
in the Russian Federation participated in the 23rd Moscow International
Travel & Tourism Exhibition held from 23rd March to 26th March 2016
at Expocentre Fairgrounds in Moscow.
The colourful Sri Lankan booth became
one of the main attractions for visitors. The stand depicted eight
themes which were Pristine, Essence, Heritage, Wild, Thrills, Festivals
and Bliss, highlighting main tourist attractions of the island.The Sri
Lanka Stand was declared opened by Dr. Saman Weerasinghe, the Ambassador
of Sri Lanka to the Russian Federation.
