Annual
scientific sessions 2016 of the National Aquatic Resource Research and
Development Agency (NARA) will be held on 29th March at its auditorium
under the patronage of the Minister of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources
Development Mahinda Amaraweera.
The session, themed “healthier aquatic
environment for the economic growth” will explore and share the
experiences of new developments of the knowledge base in the aquatic
resource sector with the local and international scientific community.
Fisheries and Aquaculture, Aquatic
Biotechnology and Animal Health, Oceanography and Hydrography, Fisheries
Socio-economics and Marketing, Aquatic Food Technology, GIS and Remote
Sensing, Conservation and Management of Aquatic Environment will be the
key areas to be addressed at the session.
