Friendly sporting events for USS “Blue Ridge” crew

Sri Lanka Navy organized sporting events for the crew of USS Blue Ridge, which arrived in Sri Lanka on Saturday (26th March) to strengthen the relationship among navies of the two countries.

Basketball, baseball, and a soccer games were held on Sunday and Monday (27th and 28th March) at the Welisara Sports ground.

Sri Lanka Navy clinched the victory in Baseball and Soccer games while the visiting “Blue Ridge” ship team won the Basketball match beating their counterpart, the Sri Lanka Navy.
