Norochcholai restarts; hopeful power cuts will cease by evening – CEB Chairman

The CEB is in the process of energizing the Norochcholai power plant currently, CEB Chairman Anura Wijeypala told Ada Derana a short while ago. We hope with the restart to add 600MW to the grid by this evening, he added.   Hence we are hopeful that by this evening we could cease the intermittent power
cuts, he claimed.
