To safeguard SLFP, Mahinda must become next PM - Welgama

In a bid to safeguard the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP), steps should be taken to appoint Mahinda Rajapaksa as the next Prime Minister, MP Kumar Welgama says.

Welgama also said that or a new party should be formed under the leadership of the former President.

The observation was made at an event held in Kesbewa, Ada Derana reporter said.
